Sales FAQ
Which organisations is Tempolia designed for?
Tempolia is designed for professional services organisations that track time, expenses, engagements or projects, budgets and potentially an invoicing cycle: accounting firms, law firms, engineering consultancies, IT services firms, businesses and non-profits.
How do we choose between Corporate, Expert and Enterprise?
Corporate structures time, expenses, budgets, capacity and analysis. Expert adds complete internal management, invoicing, payments and reminders. Enterprise includes advanced options and integrations. A demo confirms the right scope.
Is there a price for sole practitioners?
Yes. The total monthly fixed price for a single user is shown in each plan: €29 excluding VAT for Corporate, €49 excluding VAT for Expert and €79 excluding VAT for Enterprise, billed annually.
How does deployment work?
Deployment begins by defining companies, users, permissions, master data, processes and migration requirements. Configuration and training are then organised in stages to minimise disruption to existing working practices.
Can you migrate existing data?
Data can be migrated through imports or a specific service, depending on its format, quality and the selected scope. Feasibility is checked before pricing.
What guidance and support are available?
Tempolia provides direct support, tailored one- or two-hour sessions and online training available at any time. Specific developments or connectors are scoped separately.
Where is the data hosted?
Data is hosted in France. Every account has its own database, backed up every night to another data centre, with daily, weekly and monthly history.
Feature FAQ
How do staff enter their time?
Tempolia offers several entry methods: calendar, lines, tables, monthly entry and timer. Checks and reminders identify missing time before invoicing or analysis.
How are expenses and supporting documents managed?
Expenses are connected to the staff member, customer and engagement or project. Supporting documents can be attached, and OCR helps read the relevant information.
Which invoicing methods are supported?
Invoices can be prepared from actuals, fixed fees, subscriptions, deposits, quantities, calculation formulas or progress, using the engagement's time, expenses, budgets and data.
Can invoices be reviewed before issue?
Yes. Prepared invoices remain in a review stage: lines, amounts, customer, engagement, template and due date can all be checked before final approval and issue.
Does Tempolia manage payments and reminders?
Yes. The Expert plan covers payments, reconciliation, SEPA direct debits, aged receivables, paper or email reminders and accounting exports.
Which performance metrics are available?
Reports and pivot tables analyse time, costs, budgets, capacity, progress, margins, recovery, invoicing, receivables and customer balances across your organisation's dimensions.
Compliance, security and electronic invoicing FAQ
Does Tempolia generate Factur-X invoices?
Yes. Tempolia generates PDF invoices in Factur-X format and prepares the data needed for electronic invoicing.
How does Tempolia exchange data with a certified platform?
The flow depends on the platform and selected scenario. Tempolia can generate Factur-X invoices and transmit data or documents through the available interfaces. Compatibility is checked using real cases.
What is Tempolia's approach to tax compliance?
Tempolia applies integrity, security, retention, archiving and traceability mechanisms to sensitive data. The product is working towards NF525 certification; the exact scope is presented during the project.
How are archiving and data portability managed?
Data remains the customer's property. It can be exported and is covered by retained backups. Tax archiving and data return arrangements depend on the features used and the applicable regulatory framework.
Which security mechanisms are available?
Tempolia uses HTTPS, granular permission management, logging of sensitive actions, OAuth2 and, depending on the plan, SAML SSO. Data is isolated by account and backed up on French infrastructure.
