Tempolia app privacy policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026. This policy covers the Tempolia app for Android and iOS, including Android package fr.tempolia.mobile. It supplements our terms and conditions and legal notice.
Who processes your data?
Tempolia SAS, 51 boulevard de Strasbourg, 75010 Paris, France, publishes the app. Contact: contact@tempolia.fr. Your organization manages your account and determines the purposes of business data processing; Tempolia acts on its behalf under the service agreement. Tempolia also processes technical information needed to secure, operate and support the service.
Data and purposes
- Your client code, username and password authenticate you. Profile information and permissions determine which workspaces you can access.
- Depending on your permissions and actions, the app retrieves and sends time entries, calendars, leave, projects, business contact details, expenses, amounts and supporting documents. These support the management functions requested by your organization.
- When you take or select a receipt photo, only the selected image is uploaded with your entry. Your photo library is not uploaded automatically.
- Adding a contact to your phone or sharing a document requires your action. The app does not import your entire address book.
Business processing follows your organization’s instructions and legal bases. Security and troubleshooting serve the legitimate interests of Tempolia and its customers in maintaining a reliable service. Device permissions can be managed in your device settings.
Connection and device storage
Service communications use HTTPS. Remembered connections use tokens kept in your phone’s secure storage; the app does not save your password there. You can sign out, forget a saved workspace and revoke a session through device management. These actions do not delete your organization’s business data. If you enable biometric unlocking, your phone’s operating system performs the check; Tempolia does not receive your fingerprint or facial template.
Diagnostics and service providers
The native app sends error reports and performance measurements to Sentry to detect and fix failures. These may include the app version, operating system, device model, technical identifiers, timestamps, error traces and network connection information. The receiving server necessarily receives the connection’s IP address.
Technical session replays are also sampled and may be sent when an error occurs. Text and image masking is enabled. Request bodies, passwords and authentication tokens are not intended for diagnostics and are filtered. The app contains no advertising and does not use diagnostics for advertising targeting.
Data can be accessed by authorized people in your organization, Tempolia and providers needed to operate the service. You choose the recipient when sharing. For Sentry’s technical processing, see its privacy information and data processing agreement, including international transfer safeguards. A European collection endpoint does not mean all provider processing takes place exclusively in France.
Retention and deletion
Your organization sets business data retention according to its needs and obligations, including accounting and employment requirements. Service termination and data return or deletion are governed by the terms and service agreement. Tokens are limited by expiry or revocation. Logs and diagnostics are retained according to the periods configured for security and incident analysis; an incident or obligation may require longer retention. Contact us for the periods applicable to your workspace.
The app uses an existing professional account and does not offer self-service account creation. To request account closure or data deletion, contact your organization’s administrator or contact@tempolia.fr, specifying your organization and username without sending your password. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or protect legal rights.
Your rights
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. Contact your organization for business data, or Tempolia for processing it determines. You may also complain to the French data protection authority, CNIL. Changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
